Pauline Rowson is the author of crime novels, featuring the rugged and flawed Portsmouth detective DI Andy Horton and Art Marvik, troubled former Royal Marine Commando now an undercover investigator for the UK’s National Intelligence Marine Squad (NIMS) as well as standalone thrillers. She authored two award winning books – In Cold Daylight and In For the Kill.

Pauline Rowson has been hailed as “redefining the genre of the police drama” by setting it against the atmospheric backdrop of the ever changing sea. Her cops are tough yet fallible. Adventure, mystery and heroes have always fascinated and thrilled Pauline, that and her love of the sea has led her to create her thrilling range of crime novels.

One of her standalone thrillers, In Cold Daylight  was voted by the public as their third best read in an online poll for World Book Day 2008.  And In for the Kill  was described as “A change of direction at every turn.

Born and raised in Portsmouth, Pauline Rowson draws her inspiration for her crime novels from the area in which she lives, which is diverse and never without incident. Her crime novels have an International readership and have been translated into several languages including Chinese.  They are available in hardback, paperback, as ebooks, and some are also available in Large Print and as unabridged audio books.  Published in the UK and the USA they can be bought on line and from all good booksellers.
